Hosted collaboratively by Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), and Universiti Muhammadiyah Malaysia (UMAM), this year\u2019s conference signals a growing urgency to critically examine how digital transformation is reshaping societies across the ASEAN region. The event is also co-organized with the International Communication Association (ICA) Indonesia Chapter<\/strong> and supported by ASIKOPTI, an Indonesian academic communication association.<\/p>\n

The two-day conference will feature keynote addresses and panel discussions from leading communication scholars and digital transformation specialists. Prof. Dr. Dorien Kartikawangi, M.Si<\/strong>., from Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya and the ICA Indonesia Chapter<\/strong>, who is known for her work on communication strategies, identity, and digital transformation in multicultural contexts presented her latest research.<\/p>\n

Other plennary speakers are: Dr. Saidul Amin, M.A., from Universiti Muhammadiyah Malaysia, known for his contributions to Islamic communication and digital public discourse. Prof. Ju Zou, Ph.D., from Nanjing Normal University, China, who brings insights into East Asia\u2019s digital education and policy innovation landscape. Pavel Slutsky, Ph.D., from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, a researcher specializing in global media and digital citizenship.<\/p>\n
