\"\"In recent decades, communication studies have been largely shaped by theories and frameworks developed in dominant academic centers. While these contributions remain valuable, their universal application often overlooks the complexity of local contexts, particularly in societies marked by deep social, cultural, and digital inequalities.<\/p>\n

Indonesia, as one of the world\u2019s most diverse societies, offers a rich and dynamic context for advancing communication knowledge. Its unique intersections of pluralism, rapid digital transformation, uneven development, and evolving media ecosystems provide fertile ground for theoretical innovation and empirical research.<\/p>\n

This conference invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to move beyond importing theory and contribute to the advancement of communication knowledge grounded in Indonesian realities. We particularly encourage works that engage with inequality as a central analytical lens\u2014whether in access, representation, participation, or knowledge production.<\/p>\n
