Highlights Indonesia’s Role in Global Communication Research
The Faculty of Communication Science at Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) proudly hosts the 75th International Communication Association (ICA) Annual Conference – Indonesia Hub Monday (16/6) at the UNPAD Auditorium in Jatinangor, West Java. With the theme “Disrupting & Consolidating Communication Research,” the event underscores Indonesia’s growing contribution to global conversations in the field of communication.
As digital innovation accelerates across Southeast Asia, scholars, practitioners, and policy experts are set to converge in Kuala Lumpur for the 6th Jogjakarta Communication Conference (JCC), April 29–30, 2025, the hybrid-format event is themed “Advancing Regional Resilience: Digital Transformation Impact on Society in Southeast Asia.”
Hosted collaboratively by Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), and Universiti Muhammadiyah Malaysia (UMAM), this year’s conference signals a growing urgency to critically examine how digital transformation is reshaping societies across the ASEAN region. The event is also co-organized with the International Communication Association (ICA) Indonesia Chapter and supported by ASIKOPTI, an Indonesian academic communication association.
ICA Indonesia Chapter Celebrates 2nd Anniversary with International Roundtable on Communication Research Trends
Jakarta, March 6, 2025 – The International Communication Association (ICA) Indonesia Chapter is set to mark its second anniversary with an international roundtable discussion on “Communication Research Trends.” This prestigious event will take place on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 14:30 to 19:00 WIB at the Ballroom, Yustinus Building, 15th Floor, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia.
ICA Indonesia and Amerta Pijar Indonesia to Hold Workshop on Sustainability and Communication.
The Indonesia Chapter of the International Communication Association (ICA) in collaboration with Amerta Pijar Indonesia is set to hold a workshop titled “Sustainable Issues, Measurement, and Communication” on Thursday, 20 February 2025. The event will be conducted in a hybrid format, with an on-site session at Yustinus 14, Universitas Katolik Atma Jaya, and an online session via Zoom.
