ICA Indonesia Chapter Co-Hosted 6th Jogjakarta Communication Conference

As digital innovation accelerates across Southeast Asia, scholars, practitioners, and policy experts are set to converge in Kuala Lumpur for the 6th Jogjakarta Communication Conference (JCC), April 29–30, 2025, the hybrid-format event is themed “Advancing Regional Resilience: Digital Transformation Impact on Society in Southeast Asia.”

Hosted collaboratively by Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), and Universiti Muhammadiyah Malaysia (UMAM), this year’s conference signals a growing urgency to critically examine how digital transformation is reshaping societies across the ASEAN region. The event is also co-organized with the International Communication Association (ICA) Indonesia Chapter and supported by ASIKOPTI, an Indonesian academic communication association.
